Real ID APP User Service Agreement

1.1 Subject of the Agreement

This Agreement is entered into between you ("user") and Real ID Foundation Limited ("we"). We are the legal operator of the Real ID APP. This Agreement defines your rights and obligations when using the distributed identity (DID) service provided by Real ID APP (hereinafter referred to as "this application") and complies with relevant laws.

1.2 Key Definitions

a) DID Identifier: Distributed Identity is a decentralized digital identity based on blockchain technology.
b) Seed User: A user who has completed chip authentication.
c) End User: A user who has completed basic registration.

2.2.1 Real ID generation and verification

Seed users: Chip authentication is required, i.e. "verification of the consistency between the electronic passport chip information and the face collected on site" to generate a unique Real ID Identifier. Electronic passport information and biometric data are only collected and verified on the end side, and are deleted after verification and are not stored on the server. The Real ID Identifier is the result of a HASH operation on personal information, which is stored on the device side, server and chain (for storage instructions, see the Personal Information Protection Policy). End users: A Real ID Identifier is generated after email verification. The relevant information processing and storage rules are the same as those for seed users.

2.2.2 Social connections

Both parties must agree to authorize the Real ID Identifier association before a social connection can be established; if authorization is refused, the other party can only view public information (such as user name, authentication status).

3.1.1 Real ID autonomy

You can register/cancel Real ID at any time. After cancellation, all services that rely on Real ID will be terminated (such as login, data sharing).

3.1.2 Right to data operation

Subject to compliance with relevant laws, you can apply to migrate Real ID-related data to other compatible platforms. We provide standardized data interfaces (such as JSON format export).

3.2.1 Guarantee of identity authenticity

Seed users must ensure that the electronic passport information provided during registration is authentic and valid, and has not been reported lost or cancelled; if the information changes, they must contact customer service staff to update the data within 7 working days. It is prohibited to use this app to generate false Real IDs or impersonate others.

3.2.2 Privacy protection obligations

The Real ID information of others obtained through this application must not be used for illegal purposes (such as fraud, harassment). If you violate this, we will cooperate with the authorities in the investigation and provide relevant logs (such as login records, friendship and connection records, etc.). If a user finds any abnormal login to his account (such as access from a remote IP address), he must immediately report the loss through the customer service channel, otherwise he may bear the losses caused by failure to report the loss in time.

4.1 Active Termination

Users can request to delete all personal data by sending an email to customer service. We will complete the cancellation and delete the associated Real ID within 30 working days (except for archived data as otherwise required by law). After logging out, users cannot restore the deleted Real ID and related data.

4.2 Passive Termination

If a user violates this Agreement or the law (such as abusing Real ID to engage in illegal activities), we have the right to immediately suspend/terminate the service. The service fees already collected will not be refunded. After the service is terminated, we will continue to store necessary logs (such as login records, friend establishment records, etc.) within the scope permitted by relevant laws for a period of 5 years.

5.1 Intellectual Property

The intellectual property rights of the underlying blockchain technology, Real ID algorithm model, etc. involved in this application belong to us. Users only have limited use rights and are not allowed to reverse engineer, copy or transfer them.

5.2 Exemption of liability

We only provide the Real ID technical service platform and are not responsible for transactions or social behaviors conducted by users through Real ID. Users need to assess the risks on their own. We are not liable for compensation for service interruptions caused by blockchain network congestion or force majeure (such as extreme natural disasters), but we will try our best to minimize the impact.

6.1 Update Mechanism

We will notify you of any changes to the agreement at least 14 days in advance via an APP pop-up window, email (if bound) or notice board. Major changes (such as adjustments to the charging model, revisions to the privacy terms) require the user to click "Agree" again to confirm.

6.2 Effectiveness of Notification

If the user continues to use this application, it will be deemed that he/she accepts the updated agreement. If he/she refuses to accept it, he/she may apply to cancel his/her account.
